Common Space
Greetings,
Thanks for your visit to this new site.
The purpose of this blog and pages is to create a community interested in small groups and prayer groups of folks growing in the faith.
We can create a common place for sharing our experiences. Many leaders experience highs and lows in the life of a faith group. Here we can provide a safe place for asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing in our love of God.
There is a website companionblessings.org that shares a common theme.
I ask you to join me in prayer support for these ministries. I certainly pray that this will do no harm, will accomplish God's will, and can help us grow in relation with God.
With the peace and blessings of God, I am
Steve

I like to surf Google looking for something worthy to read or at least look through... There's so much garbage nowadays ( and that's why I'm glad to have found your resource. Simply wanted to say that this site is one of my favorites, there's always something to read. I wish you good luck and many devoted readers )

Saint Ignatius:
It is wisely said, "Experience is the best teacher." . . . The primary and most obvious reason for this is that revelation is not over, God is constantly revealing Him/Her self to us in our experience . . . Of course, the Bible is divine revelation - no one denies that. But so is life! It is precisely because God is present to life and available to human experience that we have a divinely inspired story to tell, and that the story once told is revelation." (inclusive gender added).
Daily reflection:
For what event/moment/person/experience, am I most grateful? For what am I least grateful?

A few weeks ago at the awesome Tower Grove Farmers' Market, I enjoyed the musical stylings of Ben Bedford (and not just because he sang a song about Central Illinois' Sangamon River, the subject of my graduate thesis video...but that helped.)
